Shutters Cliff – SOLD
The key technique employed in ‘Shutters Cliff’ – known as Sgraffito – is a heavy scoring and gouging of the dried surface down to previously-applied layers of colour. I used it here to create the sense of the cliff glimpsed through the storm’s driving turmoil.
