The Commissioning process
It starts with a conversation: what you like about the work you have already seen; what there would be within a piece of work painted for you – the colours, movement, textures, mood. We would talk about the size you wanted the work to be, which could have something to do with where you think it would be positioned. We would discuss the price – the figures in the catalogue will give you a general guide – and agree a deposit, usually 20%. We would also discuss whether or not you wanted the work framed and a date by when it would be completed.
Lastly, it is important to me that you like the work. So if, for any reason, you did not, then there would be no obligation at all to buy it.
